At Journelle, I worked in the warehouse, where my responsibilities entailed carefully packing online orders and delivering them to various mail centers. This role taught me the importance of precision and organization in the fulfillment process, as each package needed to be accurately prepared and shipped on time. I also gained insight into the day-to-day operations of a business understanding how logistics inventory management, and customer satisfaction all play a crucial role in creating a successful retail experience. This opportunity deepened my understandings for the complexities involved in running a business productively and efficiently.

At Dr. Jaber’s dermatology clinic, I worked as his assistant, gaining direct exposure to the medical field. My responsibilities included preparing patient files, listening and assisting in patient appointments, and consulting patients on their medical issues, which allowed me to observe the day-to-day practices in a clinical setting. Working closely with Dr. Jaber, I learned the importance of patient care, attention to detail, and effective communication. This experience deepened my understanding of dermatology and reinforced my interest in pursuing a career in healthcare.

I had the unique experience of working at a construction site with a geothermal company to help develop a sustainable home. I assisted with installing geothermal systems, learning about  design and the benefits of renewable energy firsthand. This hands-on work deepened my understanding of sustainable construction practices and how geothermal energy can reduce a home’s environmental footprint. It was inspiring to be involved in  an eco-friendly project that aligns with my values around environmental responsibility
